Description:


An international high school in Xiangyang is hiring a qualified English and Social Studies teacher for an August 2025 start date. The successful candidate will deliver content from a Canadian curriculum in English Language Arts and Social Studies, with a strong emphasis on literacy, critical thinking, and global awareness. Responsibilities include instructional planning, classroom management, student evaluation, and participation in school activities and extracurricular programs.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area

  • Valid government-issued teaching license such as GCE/QTS/iQTS, or equivalent.

  • Minimum of two years of successful teaching experience at the high school level

  • Demonstrated expertise in English Language Arts and/or Social Studies content areas

  • Experience with curriculum development and cross-cultural teaching preferred

  • Strong communication skills and adaptability to an international teaching environment
