About the Role
Description:
An international education center is hiring a passionate Drama Teacher to lead engaging performing arts lessons for students aged 3 to 18. The teacher will deliver pre-designed drama curriculum, help students build confidence and creativity through performance, and work alongside a Chinese co-teacher. This is an ideal role for a teacher who loves theatre, enjoys working with children, and is looking for a career in a multicultural environment.
Position Details:
5 working days per week (typically weekends included, with weekdays off)
Class size: 8–14 students
Student age range: 3–18 years old
Pre-made drama lesson plans and training curriculum
Teaching assistant provided in each class
Desired Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (Drama or Performing Arts major preferred)
TEFL or TESOL certification
A genuine love for teaching and working with children
Minimum of 2 years of drama teaching experience preferred
Salary & Benefits Package:
Monthly salary: ¥16,000 – ¥19,000 (after tax, based on 20 hrs/week)
Overtime pay: ¥200 per hour for extra hours beyond contract
Airfare reimbursement: ¥6,000 (split into two payments at 6 months and contract end)
